Yes, you can uninstall the version 2.0 after you installed a newer version, but first check if you have both versions installed. Usually, the newer versions are installed over the previous ones. If you have version 2.0 on your computer, you can remove it using Add or Remove Programs feature:


If you use Windows XP or bellow you can go to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. In the Currently installed programs box, select the program and then click Remove.
If you have Windows Vista or above you need to go to Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, to select the application and to click on Uninstall.
