New to this version is that Ashampoo Snap 3 can capture live video streaming. Use the Capture full-motion mode for movies and the Application mode for capturing Windows programs, really useful when creating tutorials or preparing classes. It even lets you add your voice with a microphone to comment on what is being displayed or done.
Also now you can choose the capture area like a certain windows thus avoiding the whole desk/screen to be recorded. Additionally an editor has been integrated to open and edit not just own images and videos but external ones too.
Ashampoo Snap 3 can capture large documents to include all the scrolling contents of a window in a single image, this means the part not visible on the screen. Further more new settings include automatic filenames to be put in images when capturing or include the date and time in the filename.
